Job Description

As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Managing payroll processes and employee expense reports.
  • Supporting audits and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Providing financial insights to aid decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant accounting background, preferably with exposure to Australian accounting standards or clients; Big4 is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and willing to learn and grow in an international environment.
