The APAC Internal Auditor will play a key role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance processes within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This position is based in Da Nang and offers the opportunity to contribute to financial integrity and operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Lead and carry out reviews in line with established audit methodologies, agreed work plans, timelines, and allocated resources.
  • Analyse potential risks and pinpoint weaknesses or gaps in controls across manufacturing sites, business processes, major initiatives, and supporting systems.
  • Oversee the audit team and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders throughout on-site assignments.
  • Conduct both financial and operational examinations of sites, processes, projects, and systems as outlined in the annual internal review programme.
  • Prepare clear reports outlining key observations, along with practical recommendations to strengthen controls, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure alignment with internal policies.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assessments and contribute to management-requested projects as needed.
  • Follow the ethical standards and professional principles set by the department.
  • Be willing and able to travel within the APAC region for approximately 40% of the time.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Big 4 or International Companies
  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with the industrial and manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using auditing tools and financial systems.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills.
  • Fluent in English.
