About Our Client

The Project Lead - Airport Training & Development will drive the design, establishment, and operational readiness of Vietnam's next-generation airport training and talent development ecosystem. This position combines strategic vision with practical execution, ensuring the creation and delivery of world-class training programs, recruitment frameworks, and institutional partnerships that align with international aviation standards.

Reporting directly to the President, the Project Lead will oversee all phases of the Airport Training Program - from concept to full implementation - and play a central role in launching the Aviation Academy, a cornerstone initiative for long-term capacity building in the aviation sector.

Job Description

As an Aviation Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading aviation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Developing risk management plans and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead engagement with international training providers (e.g., IATA Training, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Singapore Aviation Academy, SITA, etc.).
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and formalize collaboration agreements and MoUs with selected partners.
  • Oversee partner deliverables and ensure alignment with project milestones, budget, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive active collaboration to localize and operationalize international best practices into Vietnam's aviation context.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive training programs for airport personnel across all operational divisions (ground handling, passenger services, airside operations, safety, and customer experience).
  • Benchmark program structure and delivery against IATA, ICAO, and global airport operator standards (e.g., Changi, Incheon, Dubai).



The Successful Applicant

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Human Resources, Business, or related fields; master's preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in aviation operations, training, or management, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in developing, implementing, or managing large-scale training programs for airports or airlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing institutional or commercial partnerships with international aviation organizations.
  • Strong understanding of aviation HR, workforce development, and organizational design for airport or airline operations.
  • Initial 12-month engagement, with potential transition to an operational leadership role upon successful program launch.
