About Our Client

Our client is a well-established retail business within the Retail industry.

Job Description

  • Plan and secure new business premises by scouting, evaluating, and negotiating with landlords for new or existing sites.
  • Handle tenancy negotiations, renewals, terminations, and formalize agreements with landlords.
  • Coordinate fit-out designs, renovations, and ensure compliance with company guidelines and required permits.
  • Liaise with designers, landlords, and contractors to oversee site progress, maintenance, and renovations.
  • Prepare documentation for management approval and maintain a database to ensure timely tenancy renewals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on outlet performance and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Manage on-site event coordination and address any other assigned tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of working experience in retail chain, multi-level marketing, or FMCG industries.
  • Good working relationship with shopping mall leasing departments would be advantageous.
  • Possess strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful and result-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • A high degree of integrity and commitment is required for this position.
  • Possess good verbal and written skills in English. (Ability to speak and understand Mandarin will be an added advantage.)
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel
