Job Description

1. Strategic Finance Leadership



  • Shape and execute the organization's long-term financial strategy to support growth and sustainability.


  • Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, new school investments, and group-level capital allocation.


  • Lead fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence for future capital rounds.



2. Financial Planning & Operations



  • Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.


  • Build financial models to evaluate new initiatives, M&A, or expansion opportunities.


  • Set up and manage robust internal reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.



3. Accounting, Tax & Compliance



  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and statutory obligations across all operating entities.


  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.


  • Ensure strong internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management processes.



4. Team Development & Leadership



  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team across multiple locations.


  • Provide mentorship, training, and succession planning to strengthen internal capability.


  • Drive a culture of transparency, impact, and continuous improvement.



5. Technology & System Development



  • Oversee the selection and implementation of finance systems to support scale and efficiency.


  • Streamline data, processes, and controls across finance operations and school units.

The Successful Applicant

Background



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred.


  • Background in education, healthcare, or service-based multi-site operations is an advantage.


  • Prior exposure to investor-backed or private equity environments is a plus.



Skills & Attributes



  • Strong financial leadership with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.


  • Commercial mindset, hands-on approach, and systems thinking.


  • High integrity, emotional intelligence, and alignment with mission-driven work.


  • Fluent in English; Vietnamese proficiency is beneficial.
