Our client is a fast-growing start-up based in Hanoi. They have been established for the last 8 years and have a strong presence up and down the country.

Job Description

  • Partner with the CEO & BOD to shape long-term growth strategy, including fundraising, market expansion, and M&A.
  • Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A): budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Oversee accounting & taxation: ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and timely tax finalization.
  • Manage cash flow, capital structure, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive fundraising & investor relations: prepare models, manage due diligence, and maintain transparent communication with investors and banks.
  • Establish risk management framework at the company level, covering financial, compliance, and strategic risks.
  • Implement ERP, BI, and AI-enabled finance tools for automation and data-driven decision making.
  • Build and lead a strong finance & accounting team.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years in finance, incl. 5+ years in senior leadership (CFO/Finance Director/VP Finance).
  • Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and working with Boards.
  • Experience in FP&A, corporate tax finalization, risk management, and M&A.
  • Strong background in high-growth or VC-backed companies; exposure to EdTech/tech a plus.
  • Mastery of corporate finance, accounting standards (VAS/IFRS), and compliance.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
  • Strong English communication, leadership, and team development.
  • Tech-savvy: ERP, BI, AI in finance.
