About Our Client

As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will lead all financial functions across both current operations and new ventures. This includes steering long-term financial planning, business strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring robust governance.

Reporting directly to the Vietnam Country Head, the CFO will offer strategic guidance, assess and refine company policies and procedures, and play a critical role in capital management to support ongoing operations and future growth.

Job Description

Strategic Leadership



  • Provide visionary leadership to the Finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across all functions.


  • Implement structured succession planning to ensure long-term business continuity and leadership development.



Business Planning and Growth Support



  • Partner with key business units to design and execute mid-term strategic and financial plans that align with corporate objectives.


  • Lead capital-raising activities to fund business expansion, ensuring access to competitive financing and optimized borrowing costs.


  • Drive finance and tax due diligence processes and lead negotiations for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships.


  • Deliver strategic financial insights for M&A proposals, contributing to the development of investment memorandums.


  • Formulate and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth agenda.


  • Oversee the seamless financial and tax integration of newly acquired businesses.



Operational Finance Management



  • Design and uphold efficient operational finance processes that support business agility and compliance.


  • Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.



Financial Control and Insight



  • Ensure effective financial stewardship through strong control over budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial governance.


  • Guide financial planning and analysis efforts to provide timely and accurate insights for decision-making across Vietnam.


  • Guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and punctuality of all financial reporting and disclosures.



Governance, Compliance & Risk Management



  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risk.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with a CPA/ACCA qualification preferred, and bring over 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, such as Head of Finance or Finance Director.

They should have strong expertise in accounting standards, internal controls, corporate finance, and financial modeling, along with proven experience in M&A and project financing. Proficiency in English is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with tax authorities, international and local banks, and Big Four firms.Experience in an Infrastructure business is advantageous, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are key to success in this role.
