Job Description

Financial Strategy and Oversight:

Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies to support organizational growth.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Provide strategic insights on financial performance and key business drivers.

Investment and Risk Management:

Analyze market trends and assess investment opportunities to maximize returns.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Maintain robust internal controls and compliance standards.

Business Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to create and implement business plans.
Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide decision-making.
Support key operational initiatives with financial insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Management:

Build and nurture relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Prepare and present reports for the board and other governing bodies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operational teams to align financial goals with broader business strategies.
Act as a bridge between finance and other departments to enhance efficiency and communication.

The Successful Applicant

The successful aplicant will have the follwoing skills and attributes:

Financial Expertise: Strong background in finance, banking, or investment; CFA certification is highly desirable.

International Exposure: Experience working or studying abroad, preferably in Europe, Australia, or North America.

Emerging Leadership Potential: Some experience in leadership or stakeholder management, with a willingness to grow into a more senior role.

Familiarity with logistics or transportation industries is advantageous but not essential.
