Job Description

Sales & Marketing, Business Development: Strategies & Action Plan

  • Driving sales volumes, market share, CSI, top line and bottom line for the said country through a dedicated team, based on "annual business plans" and "CVIB Annual Budgets".Delivery of monthly targets is an absolutely critical element of this role.
  • Plan and execute CSI and market share for the Country / Cluster through dedicated teams based on long term and short term retail and business plans
  • Review short term and long term sales strategies and provide guidance to teams to further drive the organisational agenda
  • Ensure the shipment orders are adequately forecast, and placed as per time-lines, to match demand and supply in the market, ensuring timely and customised delivery to customers
  • Closely follow political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal trends that may impact the market
  • Support and provide valuable inputs for product design based on market's needs and wants.
  • Create opportunities for business development and local assembly/ manufacturing for the region in order to generate new business. Execute proposals based on understanding of Geo political and economic changes and their impact on the economy/market
  • Execute proposals for large government agreements and tenders.
  • Stay updated on what the competition is doing in terms of pricing, marketing, branding, advertising, promotion, new product development, network development etc. and to benchmark own activities against competitor

Financial Management

    • Plan annual/ monthly sales targets for allocated region
    • Prepare projections for Annual Operating Plan to plan and facilitate production Plan and Drive cost effective advertisement campaigns, incentive and promotional schemes for the products

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with all stakeholders, channel partners, institutional key accounts, clients and customers
  • Engage channel partners, institutional key account holders in brand building as per the set organisation objectives and goals

People Management

  • Motivate, support the team for operational success.
  • Monitor assignments and ensure good performances are recorded.
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out in the team so that each member of the team understand the standards and behaviours expected of them.

The Successful Applicant


  1. Minimum 12-15 years in relevant sales or business management roles. Ideally from Automotive brand has strong distribution and Dealer Network in Viet Nam.
  2. Experience in Business Development and Channel Management would be an added advantage
  3. Proven track record in developing a successful automotive brand in Viet Nam.
