We are looking to hire a full-time Finance Director based in Vietnam, Hanoi / Bac Ninh Province that has experience in both Vietnamese and International Organisations. This is a new position to support the expected growth of the business in 2025 and beyond.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturing business seeking a strong Finance leader to improve and enhance the finance function of the business. With expected growth in 2025, this business is currently undertaking significant CAPEX which will set them up for the future.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership to the finance team for ongoing development and execution of financial processes, management accounts, currency cash flow, debt collection and risk management throughout the Group
  • Lead all strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare and review the quarterly / yearly corporate reporting schedules
  • Oversee and evaluate the Group funding requirements and capital structure
  • Ensure cash flow is closely managed and optimized across the Group companies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of corporate strategy together with the senior management team
  • Analyze historical and future performance data and manage the ERP system in order to provide insights to improve business performance and make informed decisions on future actions
  • Provide motivation, drive and direction to deliver financial targets and to manage performance improvement action plans
  • Identify and monitor business risks and opportunities and assess the potential financial impacts.
  • Provide financial support for project bids, playing an active part in pricing and bid/no bid decisions.
  • Manage, in consultation with colleagues, customer relationships and contractual negotiations for the company
  • Liaise with auditors and other third-party professionals in annual audit, tax and company secretarial filing



The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in Vietnamese financial reporting and accounting standards (coupled with experience in Singapore accounting standards is a strong plus)
  • Minimum 10 years' of experience in accounting and corporate finance fields
  • Bachelor holder in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines
  • Big 4 background and VN CPA or ACCA certification would be an advantage
  • Proactive, meticulous with strong analytical thinking and business mind-set, and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with good command in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese
