This is a newly created position for a International School which will commence operations in HCMC in 2027. They are seeking a motivated, driven and strategically minded Finance Head to support their project.

About Our Client

An educational group which is currently scheduled to open a large-scale, top-tier international school in HCMC in 2027.

Job Description

The role duties will include, bot not be limited to:

  • Develop and manage financial planning, budgeting, and accounting systems for the university.
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese financial regulations and international reporting standards.
  • Implement internal financial controls, audits, and risk management policies.
  • Oversee tuition revenue management, funding strategies, and cost control initiatives.
  • Support the development of financial models for long-term sustainability.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years in finance, accounting, or financial management, preferably in higher education.
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting laws, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent financial forecasting skills.
  • Strong leadership and ability to implement financial controls
  • Strategic mindset, balancing financial discipline with institutional growth.
