Job Description

Strategic Planning: Design and execute strategic plans, policies, and goals for the assigned business unit, while contributing to broader strategic initiatives in alignment with the group's overall strategy, business requirements, and external market trends.

Planning & Budgeting: Develop, implement, and oversee the business unit's plan and budget, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and policies. Seek necessary approvals for execution while considering external industry developments.

Execution & Implementation: Lead and drive the execution of strategic plans, allocate resources effectively, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with the Group's objectives, business unit plans, and budget.

Management: Oversee financial management, personnel, and resources within the assigned business unit, ensuring adherence to the unit's strategy and policies, as well as the group's overall guidelines and HR practices.

Project Leadership: As a principal owner of projects within the business unit, define project scope, oversee project management, and coordinate the project portfolio using standardised project management methodologies.

Organisational Development: Continuously assess and refine the business unit's organisational structure, work-flows, and systems. Initiate and implement process improvements, ensuring knowledge retention and growth, while aligning with internal procedures and the group's interests.

Management Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights on business unit performance and market trends to the CEO, CFO, and Group Management through periodic and ad hoc reports and analysis, adhering to internal reporting standards.

Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners. Represent the business unit and the Group to external parties, aligning activities with business needs, organisational guidelines, and external developments.

People Management: Recruit, lead, mentor, evaluate, and develop employees within the business unit. Oversee the employee life-cycle, manage staffing requirements, and enhance team collaboration and capability following Group HR policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge and experiences: Academic level of thinking with at least 12-15 years of relevant experience in Animal genetic, Veterinary, Feeds.
  • Excellent commercial skill both English and Vietnamese
  • Imperatively communication, influencing skill and stakeholder management
  • Strong networking skill, able to represent group in wider context
  • Strategic and conceptual thinker, able to inspire others.
  • Strong leadership skill.
