About Our Client

Our client is a large organization in the Manufacturing industry, known for its extensive operations and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Head of Finance & Accounting to drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and investment decisions.

Job Description

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to Operations and Supply Chain, converting complex financial data into data-driven strategies and actionable business insights.
  • Provide forward-looking financial guidance to support cost optimization and drive operational efficiency within manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Collaborate on assessing pricing strategies, product profitability, and conducting ROI/Capital Expenditure analyses for strategic investments.
  • Partner with production teams to manage manufacturing costs, perform variance analysis, and improve resource allocation.
  • Actively participate in business reviews, presenting financial implications and influencing outcomes with data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead the full FP&A cycle, including developing and maintaining financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial models.
  • Lead the preparation of timely, accurate monthly management reports and performance dashboards for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with both local (VAS) and international (IFRS) accounting standards, as well as all statutory and corporate regulations.
  • Oversee all corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing, and customs matters, ensuring accurate filings and audit readiness.
  • Design, strengthen, and maintain a robust internal control framework and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure reporting reliability.
  • Represent the company in interactions with regulators, tax authorities, and government agencies, and lead the resolution of audit findings.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and cross-functional teamwork.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in leadership roles within Manufacturing, FMCG, or Supply Chain environments
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
