About Our Client

Our client is a premier investment management firm in Vietnam, known for its innovative approach to financial solutions and strong market presence. They are seeking a Head of Wealth Management to lead and expand their domestic business.

Job Description

Reporting to the executive team, your responsibility as Head of Wealth Management includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Oversee sales and fund-raising for the domestic market, including retail and institutional investors.
  • Develop and manage fund distribution channels/partners, ensuring long-term growth and profitability.
  • Partner with Marketing to execute investor education programs and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure quality and regulatory standards are met.
  • Recruit, manage, and motivate a strong team, ensuring appropriate training and career development.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, delivering against financial targets.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience (minimum of 10 years) in financial services, preferably in fund management, retail banking, securities, or insurance. In addition, they should be able to:

  • Demonstrate success in sales/fund-raising with proven results
  • Show strong people management skills, capable of leading a large team
  • Have a strong understanding of the Vietnamese business environment and existing networks in the financial sector.
  • Display excellent analytic, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Preferably be a Vietnamese candidate with international education and/or working experience to perform local state stakeholders management in this role
