The position oversees end-to-end HR operations for the Vietnam Plant, serving as the primary contact for employee relations, compliance, and overall HR governance. This role functions as the Vietnam Compensation & Benefits Lead, managing local payroll and benefits administration, personal income tax processes, global mobility coordination, and initiatives that strengthen employee engagement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Management
  • Lead all C&B programs and processes for Vietnam across FTEs, FTCs, and contingent workers (e.g., merit, bonus, promotions, market adjustments).
  • Review and validate C&B decisions in line with established frameworks and internal guidelines.
  • Prepare and issue all associate communication related to merit increases, bonuses, and compensation changes.
  • Support Talent Acquisition (TA) with offer proposals to ensure alignment with budget and C&B policies.
  • Ensure full compliance with Vietnam labor laws and regulations related to C&B.
  • Act as the POA for local offers, managing the full lifecycle from offer issuance to termination decisions.
  • Lead the completion of annual C&B market survey submissions.

  1. HR Operational Policy Development & Implementation
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and localization of HR policies, incorporating associate feedback and regulatory updates.
  • Prepare all documentation required for policy implementation.
  • Draft, maintain, and update HR procedures for ISO compliance.
  • Manage internal and external ISO audit processes.
  • Communicate policy updates and changes clearly and effectively to employees.

  1. Employee Relations & Country Liaison
  • Lead all employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant, and timely resolution.
  • Represent the country HR function in interactions with government authorities, legal counsel, agencies, and HR networks.
  • Ensure labor code compliance across all manpower-related activities (e.g., ECL, labor authority reporting).
  • Sign HR-relevant contracts and certificates in accordance with the POA

  1. Office Administration, Facilities & Support Functions Leadership
  • Lead the Office Administration and Facilities team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee local responsibilities related to Immigration, Safety/Health/Environment (SHE), and Marketing Communications as needed.

  1. Onboarding & Exit Management
  • Manage all offboarding processes including exit interviews and Workday termination processing for associates and contingent workers.
  • Continuously review and enhance onboarding and offboarding frameworks.
  • Serve as backup to TA for new hire orientation delivery.

  1. Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Manage payroll data processing and approval through CitiDirect.
  • Resolve payroll-related inquiries including SHUI and PIT matters.
  • Lead benefits and insurance reviews, contract renewals, negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Oversee payroll audits and ensure full compliance with tax-related requirements.



The Successful Applicant

Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-8+ years of HR operations or generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnam labor code and HR compliance
  • Experience with C&B, payroll and HR policy management preferred
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
