Job Description

Security Governance, Risk Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust security governance framework.
  • Define and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to embed security awareness and best practices across the organization
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across IT and business environments.
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.



Policies & Controls, Third-Party Risk Management

  • Develop, update, and manage security policies and key controls.
  • Drive consistent policy application across business units and functions.
  • Regularly review and enhance policies to address evolving threats and compliance needs.
  • Align with Group IT, Finance, and QA to implement, verify, and maintain effective controls.
  • Evaluate and monitor security risks linked to vendors and partners.
  • Ensure third-party practices meet organizational security standards.
  • Establish and maintain a structured third-party risk management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Security Risk & Compliance Manager should have:

  • A strong background in technology and security risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance standards applicable to the energy & natural resources industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Certifications in security or compliance-related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
  • A proactive approach to staying informed about industry regulations and trends.
