Job Description

As an Operation Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimize retail operations and enhance overall performance.
  • Overseeing the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Managing cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and operational excellence.
  • Driving customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards across all retail outlets.
  • Identifying growth opportunities and recommending innovative solutions to improve profitability.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends to stay competitive within the retail industry.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to develop the skills and capabilities of team members.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operation Director should have:

  • Minimum 10 years of operations management experience within the retail sector at Senior levels, with prior experience in managing a large number of stores
  • Advanced knowledge in operations management with large wholesaler or retailer
  • Experience in developing and realizing budgets with P & L responsibility
  • Good knowledge about financial management
  • Entrepreneurial and customer focus, understands the retail business and how trading works
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, assertive
  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management and / or related subjects
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
