Job Description

As a Plant Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all financial reporting and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.
  • Monitoring and controlling costs to meet profitability targets.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Supporting audits and ensuring timely resolution of any financial discrepancy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Controller should have:

  • 8-15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in sectors with complex cost structures such as manufacturing or labor-intensive industries.
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle financial operations including monthly closings, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP), including implementation, reporting, and integration with operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, including intercompany transactions, foreign currency handling, and multi-entity reporting.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead financial reviews, deliver actionable insights, and support strategic business decisions.
