Job Description

Successful candidate will be responsible for the following and not limited to:

- Providing strategic leadership for the plant's overall operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives;

- Managing and optimizing the entire production process, ensuring efficient work flow and maximum productivity;

- Developing and implementing manufacturing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations;

- Leading, mentoring, and developing a large team of production supervisors, managers, and staff;

- Driving cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and delivery schedules;

- Collaborating with other departments including Sales, Supply Chain, and R&D to align production capabilities with business objectives;

- Overseeing maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime;

- Monitoring and analyzing production metrics, quality data, and financial performance to drive improvements;

- Managing relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:

- Higher degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field;

- Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within furniture industry in APAC region, with at least 5 years in a senior management role (Operations Director/General Manager);

- Fluency in Mandarin is an strong advantage, spoken English is essential;

- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies;

- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control systems, and safety protocols;

- Excellence in team leadership and personnel development;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
