Job Description

As a Plant Manager & member of the senior leadership team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
  • Overseeing the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
  • Leading and coordinating teams to optimize productivity and quality standards.
  • Carry out training and performance assessments via the shift supervisors and implement training programs to improve skill base to meet the on-going needs of the business
  • Monitoring budgets, resources, and schedules to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align plant activities with company objectives.
  • Implementing and maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
  • Monitoring the site's performance by gathering relevant data, running the necessary trials / DOE's and producing statistical findings and reports.
  • Ensuring clear communication across all levels of the plant workforce.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidates will exhibit the following skills and characteristics:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing to support continuous improvement actions improvement, manufacturing variance control
  • Knowledge of industry best practice in manufacturing risk
  • Prior Experience managing a plant for a MNC business in Vietnam, or more broadly SEA
  • Educational background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing plant operations and leading teams effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
