Job Description

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT security framework based on ISMS/ISO 27001.
  • Identifying and analyzing IT security risks and providing resolutions to eliminate or reduce them.
  • Reviewing IT security compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Designing and implementing security systems to protect the network system against security threats.
  • Serving as a member of the Change Advisor Board to provide recommendations for important changes.
  • Delivering security information and reports, including vulnerability and exploitation news, security patches, fixes, and supporting the operational team to implement the fixes/patches.
  • Ensuring that the Board of Management is kept fully aware of the risks identified and progress of rectification, and report to the CEO in emergency cases.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
  • Training and supporting staff on IT security matters.
  • Coordinating with other teams and customers to ensure the SLA of Monitoring services as a Service Owner.
  • Planning and managing NOC resources to ensure 24/7 monitoring service.
  • Ensuring transparency of information between departments and the NOC team.
  • Assisting the IT Manager and Solution development team to evaluate and suggest monitoring solutions.
  • Creating reports as required by IT Manager.
  • Reporting on security matters to relevant parties.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by IT Manager and Direct Manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent in IT training
  • Experience in information system design and implementation
  • Proficiency in various areas including network, server hardware, system, database, and software
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, security, system analysis/hacking
  • Proficient in Linux, Windows Server, Virtualization, Cloud Management
  • Familiarity with ISMS/ISO 27001; PCI DSS experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems
  • Customer-oriented with good negotiation skills
  • Experience in team management.
