Job Description

As a Senior Cloud & Security Engineer, you will:

  • Monitor emerging threats and assess security implications in product roadmaps and code.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve vulnerabilities and maintain technical KPIs.
  • Participate in audits, penetration testing, and incident response planning.
  • Secure cloud systems (Azure, AWS, GCP), including containerized and monolithic deployments.
  • Implement compliance standards (CJIS, SOC-2, ISO 27001, FedRamp, NIST 800-53).
  • Support secure web applications and hybrid cloud-AI integrations.
  • Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Testrails, and ServiceNow for agile development and deployment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud security or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proficient in Azure, AWS, GCP, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like OWASP ZAP, GitHub CodeQL, SonarQube, and Nucleus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern authentication protocols and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
