Job Description

  1. Production Leadership & Execution
  • Own overall production performance across SMT, assembly, test, and related manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets are consistently met.
  • Lead operations in a complex, fast‑changing, stabilizing performance without slowing the business.
  • Standardize production systems, governance, KPIs, and management routines.
  • Partner closely with Industrial Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to create an integrated operating model.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, standard work, problem‑solving culture).

  1. Strategic Planning & Capacity Growth
  • Develop and execute short‑, mid‑, and long‑term capacity plans aligned with business growth and demand fluctuation.
  • Drive factory layout optimization, line balancing, and investment planning (equipment, automation, manpower).
  • Translate business forecasts into realistic production and manpower strategies.
  • Support make/buy decisions and site expansion readiness.
  1. People Leadership, Training & Organization Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a large organization of production managers, engineers, supervisors, and frontline leaders.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through structured training, skills development, and succession planning.
  • Drive accountability while maintaining high employee engagement in a labor‑intensive environment.
  • Establish training systems aligned to process complexity, quality requirements, and future capability needs.
  1. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Act as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing clarity and data‑driven insights on production performance and risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Management, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and HR to support new product introduction and growth.
  • Ensure production readiness for new technologies and new customers.

The Successful Applicant

Experience

  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience in electronics, EMS, or high‑tech industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership experience in large‑scale manufacturing sites.
  • Strong background in high‑mix, high‑complexity electronics production.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both hands‑on operations and strategic transformation.
  • Experience working in imperfect or evolving environments, with the ability to bring structure, discipline, and clarity.



Technical & Operational Expertise

  • Deep understanding of SMT, PCBA, assembly, testing, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong capability in capacity planning, manpower modeling, and productivity improvement.
  • Solid working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, problem‑solving methodologies, and KPI‑driven management.
