Job Description

As a Tech Lead (Golang), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and optimization of scalable backend systems using Golang.
  • Designing and implementing database solutions to support various media & agency projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate backend solutions with frontend and other services.
  • Providing technical mentorship and guidance to the backend development team.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance standards are met.
  • Analyzing and resolving technical challenges to maintain system reliability.
  • Driving innovation by researching new technologies and tools relevant to backend development.
  • Documenting technical solutions and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tech Lead (Golang) should have:

  • 8+ years in backend/software engineering, with 5+ years using Golang or Node.js.
  • Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and scalable systems.
  • Proficient in Git, CI/CD, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Familiar with performance testing tools and security protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in OTT, video streaming, or entertainment tech is a plus.
