You will be responsible for human resources strategies and business partnering for a prominent company in the retail manufacturing industry. This permanent position, based in Hanoi, Vietnam requires regional HR leadership to drive the organisation's HR transformation. You will oversee operations of 5000 headcount approximately across multiple plants. Expats & Locals welcome to apply.

Job Description

1. Participate in developing the Business Unit's 3-year business targets, strategies and annual operating plan

2. Develop an optimal team structure, including well-defined Role Profiles and Competence requirements in line with the 3-year annual headcount and recruitment plan and manpower development and succession plan. Socialise this with line managers to guide employee performance management, engagement, recruitment and career development

3. Develop and seek approval for the operating budget in line with approved business and annual plans.

4. Create, document, update and communicate essential HR policies, procedures, work process and work methods as required

5. Drive continuous improvement by establishing KPIs and systems for monitoring the function's performance against agreed targets linked to value drivers and/ or core values of the company

6. Promote learning & development through effective delivery of FSK - Functional Skills Knowledge and MLC - Managerial Leadership Competencies training to the BU

7. Reinforce company culture through the implementation of engagement and support programs or conducting engagement surveys from time to time

8. Lead the HR function to support every stage of Staff and Operator's employee life cycle from recruitment, induction, performance management, development, career planning, grievance issues and separation, ensuring line manager accountability in the process

9. Manage the business unit's compensation and benefits position against the agreed policies and other metrics and conduct bench marking with local market reward surveys

10. Foster cross-pillar collaboration between Corporate and BU teams, sharing relevant HR information with peers or counterparts in other functions

**This role will need 25% Travel to other plants in SEA and the HQ in a month

The Successful Applicant

1. Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, exposure in a leadership regional HR role in a manufacturing is a must. Experience and proven track record in Talent Management specifically will be a considerable advantage.

3. Exposure to multicultural teams with ability to communicate effectively in English

4. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
