Job Description

The Technical Scrum Master will be responsible for building and leading a new Scrum team tasked with delivering one of the company's strategic fintech products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and scaling a new Agile delivery team
  • Driving optimal workflow to ensure timely and high-quality product releases
  • Setting delivery cadence, forecasting sprint outcomes, and proactively removing blockers
  • Facilitating all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Managing the product backlog (Master Story List), ensuring stories are refined and sprint-ready
  • Ensuring adherence to the Definition of Done and maintaining technical quality standards
  • Managing stakeholder communication and expectations across cross-functional teams
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to continuously improve delivery performance
  • Contributing hands-on to technical discussions, design, coding, or testing when required
  • Monitoring and managing technical debt alongside continuous delivery initiatives
  • Handling conflict resolution and negotiating timelines and priorities effectively
  • Maintaining clear visual tracking of sprint progress (e.g., burn-up charts, task boards)



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will demonstrate both Agile leadership capability and solid technical grounding.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of recent experience as a Scrum Master
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Proven ability to lead small technical teams while remaining hands-on
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong influencing ability across engineering and leadership teams
  • High energy, assertiveness, and delivery-focused mindset
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts effectively



Technical knowledge in at least three of the following areas:

  • Mobile development (iOS or Android)
  • Web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, JavaScript)
  • Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server)
  • Quality Assurance and Automation Testing
  • Web Security (including OWASP standards)
  • Java and Oracle technologies
  • DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices
