Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth financial processes and strong internal controls across all transactions.
  • Lead monthly financial closing, including accruals, expense recognition, and preparation of reports for management and auditors.
  • Analyse production performance, including yield and inventory valuation, and provide insights into cost efficiency and optimisation.
  • Oversee AP/AR functions, monitor credit exposure, and control credit limits, payment terms, and ageing balances.
  • Manage inventory and fixed assets, including reconciliation, stock counts, variance investigation, and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor manufacturing and overhead costs, analyse variances against budget, and drive cost control initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally to support business goals.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments
  • Proven leadership experience at Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager level
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial control
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
