About Our Client

Our client is a well-established large-scale company within the manufacturing industry in Tien Giang, Vietnam.

Job Description

  • Leads end‑to‑end factory finance with strong governance, internal controls, and compliance with Group policies, IFRS, and Vietnam GAAP.
  • Owns monthly, quarterly, and annual close, management reporting, and statutory financial reporting.
  • Ensures balance sheet integrity across inventory, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and intercompany balances.
  • Acts as the senior finance authority for Vietnam, representing finance in management and operational forums.
  • Owns product costing, standard cost setting, cost roll‑ups, and detailed variance analysis.
  • Partners with operations to drive productivity, yield and scrap improvement, labour efficiency, and overhead absorption.
  • Leads budgeting, rolling forecasts, and budget‑vs‑actual reviews with clear, actionable insights.
  • Holds full accountability for Vietnam tax compliance, including CIT, VAT, WHT, transfer pricing, and audits.
  • Oversees customs, import/export duties, bonded zone matters, and manages external authorities and advisors.
  • Serves as a trusted business partner to the GM, and functional leaders, supporting strategy and decisions.
  • Drives cash flow and working capital optimisation, supporting treasury, funding, and intercompany requirements.
  • Leads and develops a large factory finance team, championing capability building, standardisation, and finance transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, with professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA) strongly preferred.
  • 10-15+ years of finance experience in large‑scale manufacturing, with deep strengths across costing, controls, and compliance.
  • Hands‑on expertise in manufacturing costing, Vietnam tax and customs, and financial governance.
  • Proven leader of large finance teams, with the ability to build capability and drive performance.
  • Experience in export‑oriented manufacturing and multinational or regional group reporting environments highly valued.
  • Strong command of manufacturing economics, balancing financial control with effective business partnering.
  • High integrity and resilience, with clear communication across factory operations, senior management, and regulators.
