Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical organization with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and patient outcomes. As part of its continued growth strategy, the company is seeking an experienced a Leader to lead a strategically important manufacturing operation in Vietnam.

Job Description

As a Operations Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all site operations to achieve business, operational, quality, and financial objectives.
  • Own and drive site P&L performance, productivity, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and corporate quality standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and support functions.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and talent development.
  • Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and investment projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Director should have:

  • Significant leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organisational transformation and performance improvement.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English
