Job Description

As an Application Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical consultation and application support.
  • Recommend suitable products and engineering solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise during customer discussions and project development.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation using AutoCAD.
  • Conduct product training for customers and internal sales teams.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns.
  • Review technical requirements and ensure solution feasibility before quotation submission.
  • Visit customer sites to understand applications and identify business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Application Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Solid knowledge of geared motors, gearboxes, and industrial machinery.
  • Experience in application engineering, technical support, or industrial equipment.
  • Ability to read and prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Good English proficiency and willingness to visit customer sites.
