Job Description

  • Advise a diverse portfolio of international and local clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters
  • Lead and support complex transactions, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, and execution
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents with precision and commercial awareness
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical, and business-oriented advice to clients
  • Liaise directly with clients, counterparties, authorities, and other external stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups and offices on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers (for more senior candidates), contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
  • Support business development initiatives, including client relationship management, proposals, and thought leadership where appropriate
  • Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on client matters

The Successful Applicant

  • Overseas LLB or LLM required, with strong academic credentials
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver clear and commercially sound advice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
  • Fluency in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent written and verbal communication in both languages
  • Prior experience in real estate or property-related matters would be advantageous
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional in approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment, with the ability to adapt and collaborate across cultures
