This role will lead the end-to-end digital transformation journey for a fast-growing trading and manufacturing business, focusing on automation, process optimization, and system integration. The position offers a unique opportunity to build and scale the company's digital backbone from 0 to 1, working directly with across Vietnam and Australia.

Our client is a growing international trading and manufacturing business with operations in Vietnam and Australia, specializing in sourcing, production, and export of interior fit-out and joinery solutions for large-scale construction projects. With a lean team and strong commercial growth, the company is entering its next phase of expansion, focusing on digitalization and operational excellence.

Job Description

1. Process Mapping & Optimization

  • Analyze and map current end-to-end workflows (design, shop drawing, sourcing, production, and export)
  • Identify inefficiencies, manual dependencies, and data gaps across functions
  • Redesign processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency



2. Automation & System Integration

  • Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual work
  • Integrate data flows across multiple platforms (e.g., design tools, ERP, spreadsheets, supplier systems)
  • Work with APIs or middleware tools to enable seamless system communication



3. Digital Strategy & Implementation

  • Define and execute the company's digital transformation roadmap
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable tools, platforms, and technologies
  • Introduce scalable solutions aligned with business growth



4. Data & AI Enablement

  • Improve data structure, consistency, and accessibility across the organization
  • Explore practical use cases of AI to enhance operations (e.g., document processing, workflow optimization)
  • Support initial adoption of AI tools where relevant (no deep technical AI development required)



5. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business leaders, operations, and external partners
  • Translate business needs into system and process solutions
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technology

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in Digital Transformation, Process Optimization, or Business Automation
  • Strong understanding of business workflows and data flow design
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, Make) or similar solutions
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts (APIs, data pipelines, or middleware)
  • Experience working across multiple systems (ERP, Excel, internal tools, etc.)



Preferred Background

  • Experience in consulting (Big 4 or boutique firms), manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-heavy environments
  • Exposure to construction, design workflows, or CAD-related processes is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-growing environment

  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
  • High ownership and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
