Job Description

As a Factory GM, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily factory operations to ensure smooth workflows and optimal productivity.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Managing budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Leading and mentoring engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional departments to align factory objectives with business goals.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the factory environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Factory GM should have:

  • A strong background in engineering and manufacturing, particularly within complex manufacturing process such as electronics, high precision, furniture, hardgoods.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide diverse teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of factory operations, including processes, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges.
  • Experience in implementing cost-saving measures and process optimization strategies.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
