Job Description

As a Merchandise Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing merchandise strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Managing procurement and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and maintain relationships.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability.
  • Analysing market trends to inform purchasing decisions and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Leading and mentoring the merchandise team to achieve performance targets.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting insights to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Merchandise Manager should have:

  • Experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
