The Logistics Manager is responsible for establishing and managing the end-to-end logistics, warehousing, transportation, and cold chain operations for a Halal food manufacturing business. This role will play a critical part during the factory setup phase
  • Build and lead the logistics and warehouse team during the startup phase.
  • Working location is Trang Bang, Tay Ninh

Our client is a fast-growing food manufacturing company currently establishing a new production facility focused on food products for export.

Job Description

1. Logistics Setup & Supply Chain Development

  • Lead the setup of logistics and warehouse operations for a new food manufacturing facility.
  • Develop logistics strategies, SOPs, KPIs, and operating procedures.
  • Establish transportation, warehouse, and export processes from factory startup through commercial operations.
  • Participate in warehouse and cold storage design, capacity planning, and equipment selection.
  • Implement WMS, ERP, and logistics reporting systems.



2. Cold Chain Management

  • Manage temperature-controlled storage and transportation for chilled and frozen products.
  • Ensure continuous cold chain integrity from production to customer delivery.
  • Monitor temperature records, alarm systems, and corrective actions.
  • Investigate and resolve temperature deviation incidents.
  • Optimize cold chain costs while maintaining product quality requirements.



3. Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure logistics and warehousing operations comply with Halal certification requirements.
  • Develop procedures to prevent cross-contamination between Halal and non-Halal products.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, and other food safety standards.
  • Manage sanitation and hygiene programs for warehouses, cold rooms, loading areas, and transportation vehicles.
  • Support internal audits, external certification audits, and customer inspections.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Safety, or Halal Management are preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of logistics and supply chain experience.
  • Proven experience in food, frozen food, chilled food, or FMCG industries.
  • Experience in factory startup, warehouse setup, or greenfield projects.
  • Strong experience in cold chain logistics and refrigerated transportation.
  • Experience managing outsourced transportation fleets and night distribution operations.
