Job Description

  • Lead government affairs and market access strategy for assigned markets, with primary accountability for regulatory outcomes and policy engagement.
  • Represent a U.S. based multinational corporation, clearly articulating corporate priorities, compliance standards, and technology value propositions to government stakeholders.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with key Vietnamese ministries and authorities, including MOIT, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Public Security, and Cybersecurity-related departments.
  • Drive market entry and expansion through coordinated licensing, regulatory approvals, and establishment of local entities, working closely with legal and regulatory teams.
  • Influence and support policy discussions related to telecommunications, satellite services, cybersecurity, national security, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, security, finance, operations, sales) to ensure alignment between government commitments and business execution.
  • Enable strategic partnerships and public-sector initiatives aligned with national priorities, including connectivity, digital transformation, defence, education, and healthcare programs.
  • Support commercial and enterprise activities by securing required government endorsements, approvals, or policy clearances.
  • Monitor regulatory, geopolitical, and security risks; develop mitigation strategies and provide clear reporting on government and market access KPIs.



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Business Administration, Law, or Engineering.
  • 15+ years of senior-level experience in government affairs, regulatory strategy, or public-sector engagement in highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of U.S.-based multinational corporate culture, compliance expectations, internal controls, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex national security, cybersecurity, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience influencing policy discussions and negotiating with senior government officials and regulators.
  • Ability to identify regulatory or political blockers and creatively develop compliant, sustainable solutions.
  • Experience in multinational or cross-border operations, international trade, or global spectrum management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence, with the ability to bridge government and corporate perspectives.
  • High English proficiency; able to communicate ideas effectively with staff at all levels at headquarters
