The successful candidate will lead overall R&D operations at the manufacturing site, driving innovation and product development initiatives, and be responsible for new product development of connectors, cable assemblies, and fiber optic products, while working closely with engineering and R&D teams in China and the US.

About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing located in Long An.

Job Description

  • Lead overall R&D operations at the manufacturing site
  • Lead new product development for connectors, cable assemblies, and fiber optic products
  • Work closely with Sales and Customers to define technical requirements
  • Manage the sample room and create sample products as required.
  • Plan and control R&D project timelines
  • Ensure delivery meets customer and production schedules
  • Report progress, risks, and solutions to management
  • Ensure products meet technical standards and customer specifications
  • Collaborate with QA/QC for product validation and quality control
  • Support customer audits and technical reviews
  • Drive technology innovation and process improvements
  • Build internal R&D capabilities
  • Train and develop engineering talent



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related fields
  • 7-10 years of experience in R&D/NPI, with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles
  • Experience in fiber optics, cable assembly, or connectors is required
  • Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing transfer processes
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Salary range starting from 70,000,000 +
