Its Vietnam-based engineering hub plays a key role in developing and maintaining proprietary SaaS and point-of-sale platforms used by businesses across international markets. Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Contribute to the evolution of microservices architecture, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and improve application architecture, development workflows, and engineering efficiency.
  • Leverage AI tools and workflow automation to streamline software development processes and improve team productivity.
  • Establish and promote best practices for AI-assisted software development, including guidelines for AI-generated code validation, testing, and maintainability.
  • Build reusable AI playbooks, templates, and toolkits to support wider adoption of AI across the engineering team.
  • Develop unit tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold software engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver product features.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge and engineering best practices.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring frameworks, particularly Spring Boot and JUnit.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based application development.
  • Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools, AI-powered workflows, or automation solutions is required.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
  • Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, concurrency, and software engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing practices, and code quality standards.
  • Good English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international engineering environment.
  • Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to challenge existing practices and drive continuous improvement.
