Job Description

  • Take ownership of establishing and scaling a manufacturing workforce in a newly built production facility.
  • Drive the deployment of the operational model for the new site and ensure a smooth ramp-up while meeting defined performance targets.
  • Lead key initiatives that align with short- and mid-term operational priorities.
  • Be accountable for end-to-end production operations and overall shop floor performance.
  • Ensure execution excellence across production by delivering outputs that meet cost, timing, and quality expectations.
  • Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and materials to support efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing cost, enhancing productivity, improving product quality, increasing on-time fulfillment (FROT), and shortening cycle times.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and legal compliance requirements at all times.
  • Oversee financial discipline in both capital investments and operational spending.
  • Build a strong team culture by strengthening engagement, developing talent pipelines, and preparing future leaders for succession.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in manufacturing, production, or engineering environments with solid technical grounding.
  • Proven leadership track record with at least 5 years managing production teams.
  • Previous involvement in setting up new facilities or operations is highly valued.
  • Strong leadership presence with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly results-oriented with the ability to perform under demanding conditions.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute effectively.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and with limited information.
  • Strategic mindset that can balance immediate operational needs with longer-term objectives.
  • Passionate about people development, with the ability to inspire and grow future leaders.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools including ERP/MES platforms (SAP preferred) and standard office software; proficient in both Vietnamese and English.
