Job Description

  • Analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements to produce architecture blueprints and solution design documentation.
  • Ensure technical decisions support scalability, security, reliability, and long-term business objectives.
  • Identify technical debt and drive system modernization and architectural improvements.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies that enhance platform capabilities and engineering productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Business, Security, and Engineering teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on software architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), API strategy, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Establish architecture standards and governance to ensure consistency across platforms and services.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering and system architecture, ideally within fintech, digital platforms, or large-scale technology environments.
  • Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and event-driven solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Java-based technologies, particularly Spring Boot, reactive programming, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of fintech architecture requirements, including security frameworks, authentication standards, compliance, and real-time transaction processing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
