Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimise operations.
  • Managing procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and quality assurance.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Analysing supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international procurement and supply chain regulations.
  • Leading and mentoring the supply chain team to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align supply chain operations with overall business goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain operations in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
  • Knowledge of local and international supply chain regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
