Our client is a fast-growing international university based in Ho Chi Minh City, operating within a broader education group. The institution is entering a significant phase of expansion, focused on academic excellence, financial sustainability, and responsible campus development.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the President, this role serves as a core member of the University Management Team, with full accountability for finance, operations, infrastructure, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading financial strategy, multi‑year modelling, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Translating academic and enrolment strategy into robust financial and investment plans
  • Overseeing institutional operations across finance, HR, IT, facilities, and campus services
  • Driving capital planning and campus infrastructure development, ensuring financial discipline
  • Establishing strong procurement, cost control, and vendor governance
  • Embedding sustainability principles into operations and campus development
  • Leading HR strategy, organizational design, and high‑performing administrative teams
  • Overseeing digital systems, data governance, and cybersecurity
  • Supporting government relations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness
  • Advising the President and Board on financial sustainability and institutional risk

The Successful Applicant

You are a senior leader with:

  • A Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Finance, MBA, or related field preferred
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in higher education or complex service organizations
  • Deep expertise in financial modelling, strategic planning, and institutional governance
  • Proven experience aligning financial strategy with academic and enrolment planning
  • Track record managing multi‑function operations (finance, HR, IT, facilities)
  • Strong stakeholder management and systems thinking capability
  • Familiarity with Vietnam or Southeast Asian regulatory environments is a strong advantage
