Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a manufacturing and commercial organisation in the electrical materials & lighting industry. This role oversees full P&L, business development, operations, and organisation leadership, driving both short term commercial results and long‑term strategic growth.
The role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient output, quality compliance, safety performance, and alignment with customer delivery requirements while leading and developing a team of supervisors and operators.
The position plays a critical role in stabilizing underperforming vendors, leading cross-functional quality projects, and ensuring alignment with global quality, engineering, and compliance standards. The specialist works collaboratively with internal Quality, Engineering, Product Development, Sourcing, and Operations teams to resolve systemic quality issues and strengthen vendor manufacturing capabilities.
