Job Description

  • Define and execute departmental goals, strategies, and business development plans in line with company objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Managers and teams to ensure consistent service quality and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the delivery and review of accounting and tax services to key clients, maintaining strong relationships with client decision-makers.
  • Manage complex and high-level engagements, including IFRS reporting/conversion projects and due diligence assignments.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling services, and preparing proposals for new and existing clients.
  • Monitor departmental financial performance, including billing, debt recovery, credit control, and productivity.
  • Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration across divisions.
  • Support HR activities related to recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance market presence and professional credibility.
  • Act as an authorized signatory for payment instructions and provide ad-hoc support to the Finance function when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with a recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA VN, ACCA)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in CPA firms or multinational environments, preferably within Big 4 or professional services firms.
  • At least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role, with proven people management experience.
  • Strong client servicing skills with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High level of commercial awareness, financial accountability, and governance understanding.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
