Job Description

As a Business Development Manager - Footwear Materials (Indo, TH, VN), your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the growth of sport and performance footwear materials across Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.
  • Balance 50% new business hunting with 50% strategic segment and account development.
  • Lead regional go‑to‑market strategy for footwear applications within the advanced materials portfolio.
  • Build direct relationships with global and regional sports footwear brands and key OEM partners.
  • Engage across the full footwear value chain, from brand owners to Tier‑1 through Tier‑4 suppliers.
  • Identify and commercialize TPU‑based and emerging material technologies to create customer value.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to support trials, testing, and successful commercialization.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence to support data‑driven business decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager - Footwear Materials shoul have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical sales or business development within chemicals or materials.
  • Proven ability to balance new business hunting with strategic account or segment development.
  • Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end footwear value chain, from brands to Tier‑1 through Tier‑4.
  • Demonstrated experience selling directly to global or regional sports footwear brands.
  • Solid technical background in TPU or polymer materials applied to footwear applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at a regional level.
  • Strategic, proactive mindset with strong execution capability in an APAC environment.
