Job Description

  • Acts as a hands-on Finance Business Partner to Operations and Commercial leadership, aligning corporate goals with plant-level execution.
  • Drives one set of consolidated financial numbers, leading finance-production reviews with standardised insights and templates.
  • Leads financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, including pricing, margin improvement, and operational efficiency projects.
  • Owns the business narrative, performance insights, and recommendations across multiple units.
  • Builds and develops a high-performing Business Partnering team through coaching, prioritisation, and capability development.
  • Provides deep-dive analysis on plant performance (labour efficiency, yield, throughput) and recommends corrective P&L actions.
  • Delivers robust performance management via weekly and monthly KPI reporting, driving accountability and ownership.
  • Develops commercial intelligence through customer and product-line profitability, margin, and semi-variable cost analysis.
  • Leads operational variance analysis, translating root causes into tracked improvement actions.
  • Supports operational excellence through financial validation, working capital optimisation, Capex ROI reviews, and procurement cost analysis.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years' finance experience in large-scale international manufacturing, covering Controlling, FP&A, and Business Partnering.
  • 3+ years' people leadership with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Strong finance business partner with hands-on collaboration across operations and commercial functions.
  • Solid systems and analytics skills, including SAP or D365, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Clear communicator and change leader, translating complex data into actionable insights and driving new processes.
  • Resilient, organised, and adaptable, with advanced English and the ability to perform under pressure.
