This Head of HR role will lead the full people agenda for a large multi-site manufacturing organization, partnering directly with the CEO to drive organizational transformation, workforce effectiveness, and business growth. The position combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution across talent, culture, compliance, compensation, and organizational development.

Job Description

Reporting directly to Head of Asia Operations, the Head of HR will lead the entire Human Resources function across multiple business entities and manufacturing locations.

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Act as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and trusted advisor to the CEO.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Develop and execute people strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Partner with senior leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness and leadership capability.



Organizational Transformation

  • Lead business transformation and workforce optimization initiatives.
  • Support organizational restructuring and change management programs.
  • Drive HR innovation and modernization across the organization.
  • Build scalable people practices to support future growth.



Talent Management & Leadership Development

  • Develop succession planning and talent development frameworks.
  • Design leadership development programs for future business leaders.
  • Create and strengthen talent pipelines across corporate and manufacturing functions.
  • Oversee performance management, competency frameworks, and career development initiatives.



Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

  • Lead employee engagement and culture-building programs.
  • Drive company values and behavioral standards throughout the organization.
  • Develop initiatives that improve retention, productivity, and workforce stability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for conflict resolution and organizational alignment.



Compensation & Rewards

  • Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Review and optimize reward structures to support attraction and retention goals.
  • Manage annual salary review and workforce cost planning processes.



HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee employee relations, labor compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Manage HR governance, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with relevant government authorities and external stakeholders.



HR Digitalization & Analytics

  • Lead HR systems and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop workforce analytics and executive HR dashboards.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve employee and business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and reporting.



ESG, CSR & Workplace Management

  • Support ESG and sustainability initiatives from a people perspective.
  • Oversee workplace, facilities, and employee welfare programs.
  • Foster a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
  • Partner with operations teams to strengthen health, safety, and employee well-being programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive HR experience with significant leadership exposure.
  • Proven success leading HR for large manufacturing, industrial, export, or FMCG organizations.
  • Strong experience in organizational transformation, change management, and workforce optimization.
  • Demonstrated capability partnering with CEOs, business owners, and executive leadership teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law and HR governance.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations and large employee populations.
  • Strong background in talent management, succession planning, culture building, and organizational development.
  • Exposure to HR digitalization, HRIS implementation, and people analytics.
  • Commercial mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
