The purpose of this role is to support the investment team across the full deal lifecycle, from evaluating new investment opportunities and building financial models to monitoring portfolio performance and supporting exit planning

About Our Client

Our client is a leading international private equity firm in APAC region.

Job Description

1. Investment Analysis & Deal Assessment

  • Develop detailed financial models incorporating key business drivers, operating assumptions and relevant KPIs.
  • Prepare clear, concise and well-structured investment materials, including deal alerts, investment committee papers and presentations.
  • Conduct market, industry and competitor research to assess market dynamics, competitive positioning and the company's future growth prospects.



2. Portfolio Monitoring & Value Creation Support

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of key financial and operational controls, including delegation of authority, cash flow management, budgets and performance KPIs.
  • Provide financial and analytical insights to support management and investment decision-making.
  • Maintain close communication with senior deal team members and proactively provide updates on key developments, performance and issues relating to portfolio companies.



3. Exit Analysis & Execution Support

  • Support the preparation of exit assessments and related financial analysis.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate sell-versus-hold scenarios and support the preparation of financial information for Information Memorandums.
  • Assist with the preparation, organization and collection of documents required for the data room, coordinating with portfolio company management, junior team members and external advisors where required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline, with a strong academic track record.
  • CFA qualification and/or MBA would be advantageous and may be considered favourably for more senior-level positions.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant investment analysis experience gained within an international, reputable or top-tier organization.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience building detailed and complex financial models.
  • Strong team player with a proven ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • High level of integrity, commitment and initiative.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
