The Maintenance & Automation Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance, automation, and process improvement activities across the factory. This role will drive significant reduction in machine breakdowns, improve equipment reliability, increase OEE, and implement automation and continuous improvement projects to support operational excellence.

Job Description

Maintenance Management

  • Establish and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Lead mechanical, electrical, and mold maintenance activities across the factory.
  • Develop preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and autonomous maintenance programs.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify root causes of chronic equipment failures.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring breakdowns.
  • Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, spare parts inventory, and maintenance budgeting.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).



Automation Manufacturing

  • Develop and execute factory automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead automation projects including:
    • CNC machine integration
    • Material handling automation
    • Robotics implementation
    • PLC/HMI upgrades
    • Production monitoring systems
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine utilization and process performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8-10 years of maintenance and engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong experience with CNC machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and mold maintenance functions.
  • Proven track record of reducing equipment breakdowns and improving reliability.
  • Experience leading automation and process improvement projects.
