The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the manufacturing site, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. This role oversees Quality/EHS, Supply chain, Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, and Accounting functions to deliver business objectives and sustainable growth.

Job Description

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all plant operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives.
  • Champion a culture of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality excellence, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
  • Lead Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to maximize productivity, capacity utilization, efficiency, and operational reliability.
  • Oversee Production Planning & Materials Control (PMC) to ensure optimal inventory levels, supply continuity, and on-time customer delivery.
  • Direct Customer Service activities to maintain high customer satisfaction and responsiveness to market requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and digitalization programs.
  • Lead NPI/R&D Engineering activities, ensuring successful product launches, process validation, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Manage plant financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, capital expenditure, and profitability improvement.
  • Partner with HR to build organizational capability through workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop performance metrics and accountability systems to monitor operational excellence and business results.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment with corporate leadership, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective risk management, business continuity, and long-term operational sustainability.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline; MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior plant leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple functions, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability in budget management, cost optimization, CAPEX planning, and P&L accountability.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, change management, and team development skills.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
